• 1972: Graduated from Izmir College (Bornova Anatolian High School).
• 1972-1978: Completed medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine.
• 1978: Began specialization in Pediatric Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Surgery.
• 1984: Earned the title of Pediatric Surgeon with a thesis on “Revascularization of Free Intestinal Autografts Wrapped or Unwrapped with a Pedicled Omental Flap in Muscle Tissue,” supervised by Prof. Dr. Oktay Mutaf.
• 1984-1986: Completed military service at Istanbul Haydarpaşa Military Hospital.
• 1991: Appointed as Assistant Chief at Dr. Behçet Uz Children’s Hospital Pediatric Surgery Clinic.
• 1999-2001: Served as Acting Chief at the same hospital.
• 2001-2011: Held the position of Clinical Chief.
• 2004: Earned the title of Associate Professor of Pediatric Surgery.
• 2011: Obtained the title of Pediatric Urology Specialist.
• 2012: Earned the title of Professor at Izmir University, Faculty of Medicine, MedicalPark Hospital Pediatric Surgery Department.
